Institute of Directors’ Factsheet on Interim
The Institute of Directors – Europe’s largest membership organisation for business leaders – has been representing senior level professionals since its Royal Charter in 1906, earning the IoD its trusted reputation as the business network for leadership.

As part of the Institute of Directors’ mission to support, represent and set standards for directors, it publishes “Business Factsheets” on topics which may be of interest to you and other senior managers and directors in all types of organisations – for example, hiring and retention, salary benchmarking, cash control, and recession management.

The IoD recently renewed Executives Online’s sponsorship of its Factsheet on Interim Management, a comprehensive and impartial guide to the effective use of interim management, for the 9th year running. The Factsheet was authored by Richard Donkin, who writes on executive recruitment for the Financial Times and other leading business and trade publications, with information and support from Executives Online.

The new Institute of Directors’ Factsheet on Interim Management, sponsored by Executives Online and written by Richard Donkin, who writes on recruitment for the FT, is available for you to download free from the Executives Online web site.Request and download your copy today.

The Factsheet on Interim Management discusses topics such as how to get the best value out of engaging an interim manager, ROI of interim management, and how to choose an interim management agency.

Underscoring Executives Online’s own research in the field of interim management in the UK and Europe, the IoD Factsheet reports that interim managers are brought in to accomplish a wide range of tasks ranging from gap-filling to turnaround to change management:

  • Plugging a gap created by a sudden departure
  • Managing acquisitions
  • Project management
  • Effecting culture change
  • Setting up new businesses and closing down old ones
  • Mentoring and team development
  • Crisis management
  • Turning round an ailing business

We hope that you find the Factsheet interesting. If we may be of assistance recruiting any role, whether interim or permanent, please call us on 0845 053 1188 or reply to me on this e-mail. You may also complete our Client Enquiry Form and one of our directors will get back to you straight away.
