The stallion in the logo has been following me since back in the early 70’s. It is a symbol of strength and freedom and I have kept it to always remind me of how terrible communism was, is and always will be.
In 1972 I had managed to get a visa to visit East Germany and Poland. The purpose of the visit was to experience and see with my own eyes the glory of communism and how the Eastern European countries flourished with prosperity. At least that is what the Norwegian Communist party and the other Socialist Parties told us.
The visit was a nightmare, which deserves a book in itself, but the lesson was strong – and the only thing I could buy was a small woven carpet with the image of a horse!
I have kept the Carpet and each time I see it it brings back the memories why we must keep on fighting communism!
